Accessible & functional renovation for Bellbrae property

This project in Bellbrae focused on creating a functional and accessible space, with a particular emphasis on the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundries.

In the kitchen, functionality and bench space were key. Spotted gum flooring replaced the original limestone tiles, enhancing comfort for cooking. Walls were reconfigured to include an island bench and dual entry points. A large butler’s pantry, complete with an additional sink, dishwasher, and ample storage, keeps the main kitchen area clutter-free. High-end finishes like Caesar stone benchtops, porcelain splashbacks, and hand-finished oak cabinetry elevate the space, while drawers with premium hardware and handle-free fronts enhance functionality.

The ensuite and main bathrooms were designed to complement the natural elements throughout the home. Floor-to-ceiling tiles create a luxurious feel and make the smaller shower area appear more spacious. Consistent black tapware, wall-hung cabinetry, and countertop basins unify the bathrooms. Accessibility was a priority, with large openings, sensor lighting, and under-tile heating, along with provisions for future handrails.

The renovated laundries maximise storage and workspace, featuring Caesar stone benchtops and Antico oak cabinetry that match the existing flooring. Task lighting under the overhead cabinetry adds both function and style, while the washer and dryer were installed under the bench to maintain clean lines and a seamless finish.
